It features over 8.500 marine species, including a large selection of sharks, sea turtles, penguins, and stingrays. It also distinguishes itself as the world's only hippo aquarium.

Cape May County Park & Zoo is an enjoyable family attraction because of its several things to explore and free access. The Public Park has lots of free and open-air sports amenities, including walking and bike trails, a disc golf course, tennis and volleyball courts, and plenty of recreational game areas.
