Flights To New York

New York is still a flurry of action with famous sights every turn, never enough time to visit it all being one of the largest cities in the world.

What to explore in New York?

The Statue of Liberty is one of America's most prominent landmarks, a world-renowned emblem of freedom. It is one of the tallest statues in the world and is only under 152 feet tall from the base to the torch.

The statue is visible from the ground on the southern tip of Manhattan, particularly good Battery Park views. However, the only way to enjoy the Statue of Liberty is to go to Liberty Island and see it closely on a short cruise. You can walk the base, climb the pedestal, or walk straight up to the crown with advance reservations.

One of the most important things to do on the New York City route is to stroll, peddle or travel around Central Park's crossroads. You can also lace your skates and float around the Wollman Rink in winter. One of the aspects that make New York such a lovely and livable area is a big park in the city center, about half a mile wide and 2,5 miles long.

In addition to being a wonderful place to explore nature, Central Park has a lot of fun areas within its walls, and the bulk is accessible, making it one of the only affordable things to do in NYC. The Belvedere Castle, Strawberry Fields, Central Park Zoo, and the Lake are some of the most common areas to explore.

Rockefeller Center is on nearly every tourist path when it comes to New York's attractions. The focus is the 70-story 30 Rockefeller Plaza, a skyscraper with an Art Deco overlook from the iconic Top of the Rock observation deck over Manhattan and its surrounding city.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art, or Met, as it is widely known. More than 2 million pieces of art lasting 5,000 years are available in the permanent collection of The Met.

Another highly famous museum in New York City, the Met Cloisters, is located at Fort Tryon Park in northern Manhattan. Set in an excellent building, designed around a medieval cloister, chapels, and lobby, this branch of the Metropolitan Museum of Art focuses on Europe's medieval arts and architecture.

Weather in New York:

A perfect New York City holiday entails warm temperature and few travelers, with both spring and autumn periods. Visit the city between April and the beginning of June, or during September, and the beginning of November when children attend school and attractions are not in bloom.

Flights and accommodation also cost less than the summer and December holidays. Making use of the excellent weather in the streets, have a picnic in a park, and play sports games. In the New York peak season, you can expect to pay high rates for hotels and flights from June to August and from November to December during the holidays.

From March to May and from September to early November, you'll witness the right conditions and reasonably low prices. It's cold during the low season of January and February, but low prices are available. But if the weather is great, spring is your best bet if you're looking for a pleasant and cheaper visit.
